This is what I am working on. I need to finish the napkin and the first stage will be complete. The teacup and the porcelain pin has roses that will be painted in the second stage. Highlights, shades, tints, reflective lights and shines are done in the second stage. I am painting it in oils. I hope you like it!
I painted this small project in colored pencils with the beginner students in mind. I hope everyone likes it.
I will be teaching this oil painting in July at the Artist Expo Convention in Houston, Texas. It is called Sweet Hatchling. I hope you can join me!
2011 Class Directory will be available

I love colored pencils because you can take them with you everywhere. This passion fruit flower was painted during my Christmas travel.
For those of you that want to learn my techniques with colored pencils, this is a good starting point.
